Hit 1,000 pounds of trim in one shift last Friday and my back still hurts

We were slammed before a holiday weekend and I ended up breaking my personal record for trim weight on the band saw. Didn't even realize I'd passed a thousand until the scale told me at cleanup. Any of you guys ever hit a number that made you stop and think, maybe I need a better setup?

Did you try just leaning on the saw harder so the machine does the work? Pretty sure that's how OSHA says to save your back.

Hell yeah that's a serious number! Did you have any safeties or stops set up on that saw or were you just rawdogging it with the foot pedal the whole time?

@victor_robinson is onto something there haha. I read somewhere that good saw setup should let the tool do most of the heavy lifting, not your lower back.
