Just compared dry aging vs wet aging a ribeye side by side
I got two prime ribeye roasts from the same steer last month and dry aged one for 28 days in my cooler while I wet aged the other the same amount of time... the dry aged one had this nutty, beefy flavor I couldn't get enough of. The wet aged one was good but just tasted like regular steak to me. Has anyone else tried this and noticed a big difference in texture too?

My buddy tried this last year with a couple of strips and said the dry aged one was way more tender too. I've never had the patience for it myself, I just end up cooking everything too fast.

Yeah I feel you on that patience thing. The waiting is the hardest part for sure.

Try a dry aged strip once @karen361, was way better than I expected.
