Overheard a guy at the distributor talking about 'boneless' chuck rolls

He was telling the counter guy they've been getting chuck rolls with the bones still in but labeled as boneless, and the price per pound is the same as the bone-in stuff. Has anyone else run into this or am I just paranoid about getting ripped off?

Man that's shady as hell... wouldn't surprise me if they're trying to pull one over on people hoping nobody checks the label close enough.

Call it out when you see it. Labels are the only thing protecting people from getting scammed with fancy packaging. Good on you for paying attention.

Guess the bones are just a free bonus now, like a little extra chew toy you didn't ask for. Might as well start charging per pound for the gristle too.
