That 50 dollar vacuum sealer was a total scam, got 11 days out of it

Bought one of those compact chamber sealers online after a buddy swore by his, but it died mid-pack on a pork belly batch last Tuesday. The motor just seized up and the warranty form requires a receipt from a store that doesn't exist anymore, has anyone else hit this wall with cheap units?
