My resume got auto-rejected by a system last month

Applied for a project manager job in Austin. The portal asked for a PDF. I sent mine. Got an instant 'not a fit' email. Checked the file. My contact info was in a header the bot couldn't read. Fixed it, saved as a plain text PDF. Got a call back the next week. Anyone else get tripped up by resume formatting like that?

Ugh, that's so sneaky. Makes you wonder how many good people get filtered out for tiny reasons like that. What other hidden traps do those systems have?

Honestly, it's wild. I got auto-rejected once because my resume didn't have enough "keywords" from the job ad. Felt like a robot decided I was trash.
