Been framing 11 years in Spokane. Always figured crown up was just old timer folklore. Last July we laid 340 square feet of 2x6 decking crown down cause it sat flatter. First rain it pooled bad. Pulled it all up, flipped crown up, no more puddles. Cost me a full Saturday to redo. Anyone got a trick for spotting crown fast without eyeballing each board?
