I finally bought a $300 track saw and it changed how I break down sheet goods
I was cutting 3/4 inch plywood with a circular saw and a straight edge for cabinet boxes in my garage, and my cuts were always off by a hair. Last month I dropped $300 on a used track saw, and now I can rip a full sheet solo without a second set of hands. For those who do a lot of cabinet work, is it worth it to upgrade to a longer track for 8 foot rips, or do you just use two shorter ones joined together?
