I finally figured out my circular saw blade was on backwards after 3 years of blaming the wood
I was ripping some 2x4s for a shed project in my garage and getting nasty burn marks on every single cut. My neighbor who does trim work for a living came over, looked at my saw for two seconds and just started laughing. The blade teeth were pointing the wrong way the entire time I've owned that thing. I felt like a total idiot but honestly the cuts are so much cleaner now that I actually want to know, did anyone else mess this up or am I the only one?
