Stop blaming your joints for every wobbly table
I found out leveling the floor first fixed my stability issues, not redoing the carpentry.

Guess I've been yelling at the wrong suspect this whole time. Turns out the floor was the crooked one. My tables were innocent.

Check your table legs before fully pardoning them. A slanted floor makes things wobble, but uneven table legs are usually the real crime. Most old floors have some slope, but your tables should have adjustable feet or small pads to fix that. Grab some cardboard or plastic shims from a hardware store, it's a five minute fix.

Honestly, I always blamed the furniture too. Then I actually checked with a level and found one leg was way shorter than the others. A couple of washers from the garage fixed it for good. Now I know to test both things.

Imagine not suspecting the floor first. That's crazy after all the blame on the tables.
