Switched from hand nailing to a framing nailer and it changed everything
I used to hand drive every nail for deck framing, thinking I was saving money on rentals, until I blew out my elbow after 8 hours on a job in Columbus last June. Picked up a Paslode cordless nailer the next week and cut my framing time in half with way less pain. Has anyone else made the switch later in their career and regretted waiting so long?

Went from swearing at nails to swearing at battery life, but still way better than elbow surgery.

Yeah but I read lithium batteries are better for the planet now.

They keep saying that but it feels like every few years they flip flop on what's actually better for the planet... Like remember when we were all supposed to use paper bags and then it turned out plastic was better for the environment somehow? I swear there's no winning, you just pick your poison and hope the science doesn't change its mind before your next grocery run.
