TIL the hard way that green lumber will wreck your work

Last summer I built a raised deck for a buddy in Portland and used fresh cut cedar from a local mill. Within 3 months the boards twisted so bad one lifted a whole corner of the frame. I had to tear off 12 planks and redo the whole thing with kiln dried lumber from Home Depot. Cost me an extra $400 and a full weekend of labor. Has anyone else dealt with green lumber warping like that or did I just pick the wrong supplier?

Sounds like you're making a bigger deal out of this than it really is.

Wait until you actually have to deal with it, then come talk to me.
