Appreciation post: started walking my rent check to the landlord's office in St. Paul and now I know 6 neighbors by name
Took the same 9 block route every month and started noticing who was always out on their porch at the same time. Now I time my walk for 6pm on purpose, so who else has a small excuse to get out and actually see their block?

Wonder how many folks would actually know their block if they didn't have a reason to walk it.
