My 4 AM bus stop count hit 100 and now I feel weird

I take the same 11 PM bus home from my shift at the diner in Kansas City, and I started counting the stops last January just to pass time. Last night I hit exactly 100 stops on my little tally sheet, which works out to about 9 months of riding that route. What got me is I realized I know every single bench, pothole, and flickering streetlight between 31st and Main now. The city feels smaller and more mine than when I first moved here, but also kind of spooky, like I've memorized a version of it nobody else sees. Has anyone else ever tracked something dumb like that and suddenly felt a weird connection to their neighborhood?
