that weird tuesday morning where the whole block just... clicked

last tuesday around 6am i was walking to the bus stop and saw the baker handing day-old bread to the guy who sleeps under the bridge, the same guy i usually avoid because he shouts. then the bus driver waited an extra 10 seconds for a slow old lady, and i realized my street has this whole quiet network of kindness i'd never noticed before. has anyone else had a random day where your city suddenly felt like a living thing instead of just pavement?

Sounds like your block accidentally dropped acid, lucky you. Meanwhile my street's big "network of kindness" is the neighbor who only sometimes steals my packages.

Only sometimes" stealing your packages is still a problem, but is it really that serious or just annoying? Sounds like most blocks are just regular people being regular people, not some big dramatic network of anything.
