The Tuesday my whole town felt like a movie set and I still can't explain it
Last Tuesday I walked to the corner store in my neighborhood around 7pm and the light was doing something weird, all gold and low, and every single person I passed was just calm. The guy at the register, who never talks, asked me how my day was going and meant it. I sat on my porch for an hour and watched maybe 12 people walk by and not one of them was staring at a phone. Then Wednesday hit and it was gray and loud and everyone was honking again, like the town reset overnight. I keep wondering if it was the weather or if I just caught a good hour by accident. Does your city ever have days like that where the vibe flips for no reason, or is it just me reading into nothing?
