Tried the east side route vs west side route to get home in Nashville...
So I've been testing two different ways to get home from my job in Germantown. The west side route through Charlotte Ave was always faster on paper but I'd hit every red light and end up stuck for 20 minutes. Switched to the east side through Jefferson Street last week and it adds 3 miles but I cruise through with almost no stops. The difference is the timing of the lights they're synced way better on that side. Anyone else find a weird shortcut like this that just makes more sense?
