Walked the same 6 blocks in my town at 6am instead of 6pm and it felt like a different city

I usually walk my dog around downtown around 6pm when it's all traffic and people yelling into phones, but last Tuesday I had an early job in Fairview so we went at 6am instead. The whole vibe flipped. Same streets, same buildings, but the bakery on 3rd had its lights on and a guy was hosing down the sidewalk, and two old dudes were just sitting on a bench watching the sun hit the courthouse. Nobody was in a hurry. I always thought downtown was loud and kind of annoying, but turns out it's just the time of day I was seeing it. Does anyone else have a spot in their town that feels like two totally different places depending on when you show up?
