Am I the only one who sees people trying to declutter by just moving junk from one room to another?
My sister spent a whole Saturday 'organizing' her kitchen, but I found all the old mugs and expired spices piled in a laundry basket in the guest room closet.

My sister calls that her 'clutter rotation system'. She's got a whole cycle going where junk just moves between rooms every few months. I watched a stack of old magazines make a full lap of her house last year. At this point it's less decluttering and more just giving her stuff a change of scenery.

Moving stuff around is still progress though. At least it's out of the main room. Sometimes you just need a break from looking at the clutter.
