My linen closet took 6 hours, not the 2 I budgeted

I told myself Sunday afternoon would be quick, but sorting expired meds, beach towels, and my dead aunt's old blankets turned into a whole saga. Has anyone else had a 'simple' shelf turn into a full day project, or am I just bad at estimating?
