The $3 lint roller trick that finally got me to let go of old t-shirts

I had this pile of t-shirts in my closet that I couldn't toss because 'what if I need them for painting or yard work?' But they just sat there for 2 years. Last weekend I grabbed one and realized the armpits were stiff and gross - no way I'd actually wear it for anything. So I took a lint roller to each shirt before deciding. If it picked up enough fuzz to fill a whole sheet, into the donation bag it went. Got rid of 14 shirts in 20 minutes. Has anyone else found a weird measuring trick that makes the decision easier?

Wait hold on, you actually judged shirts by how much lint they'd pick up? That's genius but also kind of gross to think about how much dead skin is in that fuzz.

Flip your hangers backwards so you actually see what you grab.

Wait, hold on @parkerbrown are you telling me you actually flip your hangers around based on what you wore? I cant wrap my head around that kind of dedication to a closet system. Honestly I just grab whatever is clean and hope it doesnt have a stain.
