The 43-item clothes count that made me question my whole closet
I finally counted everything hanging in my closet last Sunday and it came to 43 pieces, but when I checked my laundry log from the past 2 months I only actually wore 12 of them, so has anyone else tried a wear-tracking method that made them finally dump the rest?

Honestly, tracking what I wear just made me buy more stuff. I found myself staring at my 43 pieces and thinking "well, if I only wear 12, those other 31 are basically new, so I deserve a few fresh things." The numbers just gave me an excuse to shop, not to purge.
