Went through my parents attic last weekend and realized how much stuff we just stored for decades

Found boxes from 1998 with old electronics and kitchen gadgets nobody used, still in the original packing. Has anyone else gone back to a childhood home and felt like half the stuff was just waiting to be thrown out?

Oh man, I just read that people actually collect some of that old tech from the 90s for nostalgia reasons. My cousin found a vintage Game Boy in his parents' basement last year and sold it for way more than he expected. It's wild how much random junk just sits there forever until someone finally decides to deal with it.

Did your cousin actually keep any of the money or just blow it on something dumb? Seems like most people find that stuff and it just sits there for years until someone gets around to selling it. Was the Game Boy in decent shape or all beat up from being tossed around in a basement box?

Nah, the Game Boy was scratched up but still worked. People pay good money for that nostalgia stuff.
