My neighbor told me I was overthinking my shed foundation and he was right

Been planning a 10x12 shed in my backyard for weeks. Watching YouTube videos, reading forums, figuring out gravel depth and compaction ratios. My neighbor Bob saw me measuring for the 4th time and just said "you're building a shed not a house." He put his on 4 concrete blocks 5 years ago and it's still perfectly level. Makes me wonder how much overkill I've been doing on other projects around the house. Has anyone else had a pro or old timer tell you to just simplify something?

Oh man, @joel_jones I had the exact same thought when I first read that! I actually saw something on a home improvement show where a guy built a whole deck on just 6 concrete piers and it was still standing 20 years later. Makes you realize how much we over-engineer stuff for no reason. For a small shed like that, 4 blocks is probably more than enough if the ground is stable. I did my garden shed on 6 pavers and it's been fine through two winters now lol. Sometimes the simplest solution really does work.
