Dropped $500 on a fancy SEO audit and got nothing but fluff

I paid a marketing agency $500 for a detailed SEO audit on my small firm's site last month. They gave me a PDF full of generic tips like 'write better content' but zero real fixes. Has anyone found a decent local SEO person in Edmonton who actually delivers?

Can't believe they handed you a generic PDF for $500, thats just lazy. @betty_kelly9 is right that is a pricey way to learn some folks really dont earn their keep. For Edmonton, I'd ask around local small biz groups or check out some of the independent SEO guys who actually run their own sites before paying anyone.
