Found out most Edmonton law firms still don't track call conversions
I was reading through a local marketing report from the Edmonton Chamber and saw that over 60% of law firms here don't track where their phone calls come from. That stat blew my mind because we spend so much on ads but have no idea which ones actually ring the phone.

That stat about Edmonton law firms is wild but honestly not that surprising. What gets me though is how do these places even decide their ad budgets for next year? Like are they just guessing based on how busy the front desk feels? I've gotta ask if anyone here has actually tried to get their firm to track calls and ran into pushback from the partners.

Wait wait, hold on. I'm still stuck on the fact that people are actually spending that kind of cash on something that might not even work at all. Like, you're telling me someone dropped thousands on a haul that was basically just a bunch of random junk from an auction site? I've seen the same thing happen to a buddy of mine who bought a "mystery lot" of vintage toys and ended up with half a box of broken action figures and some old candy wrappers.
