Just realized I was wrong about those lawyer billboards on the Whitemud
I drove past the same three personal injury ads near the Henday for months and thought they were a waste, but then my neighbor got in a crash and said the only name he remembered was from one of them. Has anyone actually gotten a client from that kind of roadside ad in Edmonton?

Guess they're the billboards of last resort (when your brain's too rattled to google anything).

My buddy Mark got rear-ended on the Yellowhead last winter. He was pretty shaken up and his phone screen was cracked. He said later that night, just like lilyp37 said, he was tired and his head hurt and that giant "HURT? CALL NOW" billboard near his house was the only thing he could picture. He called them the next morning. They took his case.

Those ads work better than you'd think, honestly.

You're right about them working, but I wonder who they're actually working on. I bet they're super effective on people who are already tired and scrolling late at night. That's when your brain just says yes to the easiest option.
