My cousin in Calgary said paying for Google Ads was a waste for a small law firm.

He runs a plumbing business and said his ads never got calls, so I held off for a year. After finally trying a small $500 test last month focused on 'Edmonton car accident lawyer', I got three solid leads in two weeks. Has anyone else found local search ads work better for legal stuff than other services?

Should I ask my cousin for legal advice next?

Guess your cousin's advice is worth about as much as a plumber's legal opinion.

Depends on the plumber, some give solid advice.

Oh come on. You guys are taking this way too seriously. A plumber giving legal advice is obviously ridiculous, but a good plumber can actually warn you about city codes or permit issues. That's not the same as practicing law without a license. Just common sense stuff about what's likely to pass inspection.
