My Google Ads campaign for a family law practice just tanked overnight, cost me $300 with zero calls

Google's automated systems are brutal for legal ads. They probably flagged a keyword like "divorce" or "child custody" as sensitive. Check your ad status page for a disapproval reason. You'll have to appeal and edit your ad text to be more vague.

Ouch, that's a brutal drop. Google Ads for lawyers is a total minefield, especially in family law where the rules are so strict. A single word in your ad copy or on your landing page can trigger a policy violation and shut you down without warning. You need to check your account for any disapproval notices right away, then probably call support (good luck with that). It's often a long fight to get it sorted and get your money back.

Check your account for a policy violation notice first.
