Stopped all SEO for my Edmonton law office last month

I think web search stuff is overrated for getting clients here. My firm gets more work from chatting at local events than any online ad.

My buddy runs a plumbing company in Calgary and dropped his Google Ads budget to zero last year. He started just going to more home show events and community meetings. His phone rings more now from those chats than it ever did from web clicks, and he saves a ton on ad spend each month. It really does seem like shaking hands still beats algorithms for some local services.

Bro that's wild. Most people Google lawyers before hitting events tho. SEO just works while you're sleeping, not just when you're schmoozing.
