I bought a used Trek hybrid back in 2019 just to ride to the grocery store. Looked down at the odometer last weekend and saw 10,042 miles rolled up. What number snuck up on you like that and made you stop to think?
Last Thursday I had one of those days where nothing went wrong. I found $20 in an old jacket, got a parking spot right in front of the store, and a customer actually thanked me for helping them pick out the right drill bit. By Friday I was suspicious. Usually my weeks are a string of small disasters like the time a shelf collapsed on a display of lawn fertilizer. But that whole week was just... smooth. No returns, no angry phone calls, no broken pallets. I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop. Has anyone else had a random perfect week that made you more nervous than a bad one?
